Ayers House
Effective 14 October 2026
These terms cover your use of this website and set out the general conditions for enquiring about and booking an event at Ayers House. Your written quote and booking agreement contain the specific terms for your event. Ayers House is a business name of The Ayers House Restaurants & Catering Unit Trust (ABN 92 542 565 314), referred to as “we” or “us”.
By using this website you agree to these terms. The content on this site, including text, photographs, logos and design, belongs to Ayers House or is used with permission. Please do not copy or reuse it without our written permission.
We work to keep the information on this site accurate and up to date, but menus, packages, prices, room capacities and event dates can change. The information here is a general guide, and the details in your written quote and booking agreement are the ones that apply.
Sending an enquiry does not reserve a date or create a booking. We will reply by the next business day at the latest to let you know whether your date is available. A date is only held for you once your deposit has been paid.
Cancellation, postponement and refund terms are set out in your booking agreement. Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
Ayers House was built in 1846, and we ask every guest to help us look after it.
We take great care to make every event run smoothly. If something outside our reasonable control prevents an event from going ahead, such as severe weather, a government direction or a utility failure, we will work with you to move the event to another date. Our full responsibilities, and yours, are set out in your booking agreement.
