Our aim is to make the culinary experience incredible, we are known for our food. We have a highly talented and dedicated in-house team who are passionate about making scrumptious food, working with local suppliers to source the best South Australian produce. We take pride in ensuring everyone has the best food experience, catering for all dietary needs, small children and suppliers; we give you the flexibility you need to create your perfect menu.

Ayers House has created three premium beverage packages boasting a wide range of wine varieties with iconic South Australian wine labels. We have a well-stocked cellar, filled with carefully chosen selections from our favourite producers.
Looking for a little extra? We have excellent three-hour spirit and mixology packages, as well a great mocktail range for alcohol-free weddings.
Our bars are also open for guests to purchase other drinks outside of the package selections, or you may want to arrange something special for them.

Ceremony
Make your I Do’s a magical moment,
The Ballroom, a perfectly private and beautiful space for your ceremony that will feel like stepping back in time. Dressed in vintage Victorian era decoration, its light filled, with crystal chandeliers and gleaming gold leaf on the hand-painted ceiling – the room radiates warmth and joy . Feel the true sense of occasion for this most intimate part of the day, it is completed with red carpet, signing table and seating for up to 100 people.
The Conservatory is a stunning glass house with a garden setting, envision our iconic stone and iron gates framing the aisle as you exchange vows. The space is perfect for an outdoorsy feel but inside, ideal for any time of the year (and in the comfort of air-conditioning).
We’re fortunate to have the stunning Adelaide Botanic Gardens just across the road (only 50 meters away), offering a variety of picturesque spots for your garden ceremony. And with Adelaide being the “City of Churches,” you’ll be sure to find a beautiful church nearby, perfect for your ceremony before returning to Ayers House for an unforgettable reception.

The Conservatory
The Conservatory is strikingly impressive and utterly private with its own entrance and bar overlooking the dance floor. Rustic blue stone walls and giant sandstone columns set the backdrop to the Victorian styled glass house extension into the rose gardens. By day natural light streams in, hanging & potted plants bring the garden feel inside & at night the glass ceiling sparkles with fairy lights.
Henry’s Table & Bar
Henry’s Table feels splendidly plush and welcoming. Henry’s features modern vintage elegance in soft colours, gilded details and a period double fireplace all add to the intimate feel and opulence of this room. It features the stunning reception area including Henry’s Bar, along with the private Banksia Room and bridal retreat in the Drawing Room, Henry’s at Ayers House has your event covered.
The Ballroom
Step into timeless elegance with the original Ballroom of Ayers House – a breathtaking space that has hosted wedding celebrations for decades. Adorned with a hand-painted gold-accented ceiling, glittering crystal chandeliers, and polished wooden floors, this Victorian-era gem offers the perfect setting for both ceremonies and receptions. With private access to the front veranda and a sweeping bay window, it’s a grand and romantic space where history and celebration come beautifully together.
The Bridal Suite
The Bridal Suite is the perfect spot for you to steal a quiet moment as newlyweds, offering a peaceful retreat before you join your guests at the reception. It’s a relaxing space for the bridal party to unwind and enjoy a moment of calm. The room features a comfy lounge, armchair, large mirrors and a stunning mantelpiece—a space ideal for sitting back and enjoying the moment. Our event managers are more than happy to bring in canapés and pop the bubbles while you relax and take a breather!
Our ceremony packages include complimentary use of the Bridal Suite, and it’s also available for hire on your wedding day.
